I've been so impressed with some of the patterns of tiling I've seen on this site. After much deliberation I ended up deciding on garage tiling (either Racedeck or GarageFloor equivalent).

Our garage is roughly a 22x22, though some room taken up by floor cabinets which we will not build floor around. We have a two-stall kind of system, so a center column. I've seen some interesting pictures of designs. Does anyone have a recommendation?

The garage will have a blue tesla, white porsche... but maybe just two teslas in future so I am leaning toward tesla red in it somewhat. I guess that is not too important, I'm just looking for some clean looks for some guidance.

Also, I'm in northern CA. My garage has a bit of a slope, and driveway significant slope (on a hill). I don't do much car work in the garage, and any cleaning would be on the driveway.

For some reason I like the look of the free flow but I don't think they are right for me, so I am going with the circles. Thoughts?

Superm1,
I just recently installed my RaceDeck floor in May. I LOVE it!! It's everything you have read about. Easy to install, easy to clean, durable, plus just looks GREAT! I designed my own pattern & went with the Black & Graphite. I can tell you that the black is nice, but it also shows dirt & dust more.

I have a one car garage approx. 12'x25'. I also installed landscape fabric under the floor to eliminate any " clicking " I'll attached a pic for you to see the end result. Yesterday I posted on the Garage Gallery my garage makeover pics.....so you can see more pics there. Good Luck!!

Free flow tiles look good in pictures & work well, but I would consider the color of the floor under them since you will be able to see it through them. They also allow water/liquids to flow away, but require a vacuum to clean. Coin or diamond plate patterns allow liquid flow, clean via vacuum, sweeping, or damp mopping. They also completely hide the floor below them.

For patterns just go to any of the vendor sites. They all have online software that will let you design whatever you like for your garage. Post pictures when you're done!

Honestly Racedeck has a great tool to build your own floor on their site. This is what I used and got exactly what I wanted. The only thing I recommend is doing as some suggest and lay a barrier under the tile. It helps to lessen the noise of walking on plastic tiles.

Thanks for the photo. I thought Graphite would have been darker but it seems to look a lot lighter in pics.

Superm1,
I forgot to mention, if you call RaceDeck & give them your info they will send you a 12"x12" color sample for free. I had them ship me Graphite so I could see how dark it was.

I 2nd what HNSY said, if you order a RaceDeck floor, make sure you mention you are a member of the Garage Journal Forum. They will reduce the price per Sq. Ft. & shipping is free. I saved approx. $300!!
