Thought I would share a cool installation that went in this weekend with our Smoked Oak modular flooring. This is the 18"x18" modules and we also have 36"X36" panels as well. We have been manufacturing laminate modular flooring for nearly 40 years for many applications. This system is extremely durable and can be interlocked with all of our RaceDeck Styles

Is there any way to get a couple samples? I love the looks but Im unfortunately one of those-guys that can't imagine these types of flooring holding up in a true working environment. Grinding / welding / fab work / jack stands etc.

I need to put a floor down in the mud room addition I’m building between my house and garage.... thoughts on how this would work in that type of application? I was considering ceramic tile that looks like wood, but the ease of installing this is tempting. Would be interested in a sample if possible!

That looks really cool. And it is nice that it can lock into other RD flooring, so you can transition into another finish.

That customer has a very nice car too :)

Ok, maybe a dumb question here.

How well it work in a living space? Say a floor in a rental. The biggest problem I can forsee is spills getting under the tiles and going rancid.

Thanks Glen

So now you do have an interlocking floor that will connect to regular race deck?

Hi
No, they will not. The patent interlocking systems on our floors are for more than just snapping together. The garage tiles ( tires turning, expansion, drainage, et) and sport tiles ( player impact, lateral shock absorption, etc) are engineered into the locks performance

We sell a tremendous amount of flooring for retail spaces ( from dealerships to department stores), with our floors being permanent yet portable you can take with you when you move, not donating to the landlord :). The seams are very snug and hydro-static tension keeps most all liquids from dripping through. The exception could be a major spill or water line break where you would just simply unsnap the tiles in the area to access underneath ( something you can not do with carpet.

The way it lays it looks chopped up from the pattern suddenly ending and restarting. Is this an inexperienced installer or just how it lays? I like it for the most part.

No renter here. But I do manage maintenance for about 85 units in a college town.

Looking for something to compete with pergo type floors.

Can you remove a tile from the middle of the field without working back from the edge?

How well do they work on floors that have some wave in them?

Hi
Yes, you can remove a single module anywhere within the floor see

RaceDeck will also contour an uneven floor

Not planning on using it but can the tiles be turned 90° and locked in place to create a parquet looking floor ?

BTW, It does look good.
