Had the floor installed yesterday (son and brother-in-law did an excellent job). Besides coming up short a few tiles, the major question I have is... how do you cut these tiles? Seems like a utility knife would be out of the question. What is the most common way to cut the tiles? I want to finish the job today and the company is not available today (Sunday).

I'd just use a jigsaw. A cut off tool (dremel) would work also, but it might melt the plastic.

Do use a table saw to cut the tiles. If you don't have one, or your buddy doesn't either, what better reason to puchase one!

I used a jigsaw to cut mine. Don't forget to leave expansion room around the edges. Direct sun will quickly heat the tiles and they will buckle if there is no expansion room.
