Big thanks to Jorgen, took advantage of the Fathers day sale. Jenn was very easy to deal with and was always quick with the replies.

Garage has been a work in progress for the past 3 years as time and money have allowed. Helps that it was brand new when i moved in.

The cabinet doors are screaming at me to straighten them up and even them out. Gotta have something to do in the winter i guess.

Looks great!!! But whats the deal with the floor on the L.H. side, front lower corner. The squares of black look different than the reat of the black tiles. Are they turned different or is there something covering the rest of the floor?

Nevermind....I see all four corners of the section are different, but why not the R.H. side of the floor?

Or am I missing something completely :headscrat :lol_hitti

Thanks for the compliments.

I find that it takes me much longer to take out the trash now:headscrat

The four corners on the left side is the Free Flow tiles. Daily driver which sees all the winter roads is parked on that side. Most of the snow and slush packs up around the wheels,so i planned the floor for the drainage.

The fun car is over on the solid side. I put that car on jackstands all the time(suspension work)and would rather have solid Race Deck tiles under the jackstands. That car never sees salt crusted roads.

Garage looks great.

I have a question though.............

With the free flow tiles wouldnt that just allow all the slush to get under the solid tiles more than just having all solid tiles?

Seems like as time goes by the free flow tiles will look dirty with no real way of cleaning under them.

Maybe im wrong but I thought the purpose of freeflow was to allow the water to go thru it then move down and out.

Yours cant do that.

Maybe Im wrong (probably am)

Awesome garage, just had that question.

Thanks TONE,

The thought process for me was,i would rather have the larger mess concentrated and melting as one then draining out under the surface. Rather than pooling up on top and spreading all over as the melt makes it's way out.

The tiles can be removed in sections for cleaning or replacement with relative ease. From prior winters with just the bare floor i know what to expect for spring cleaning, should'nt be more than a sunday afternoons worth of playtime.

The thing i love about this stuff is,if i am not happy with the flow thru stuff.I just order up some more of the solid and pop them in.
Guess i will see how or if my opinon changes come next spring.

Gmachine,

Resurecting an old post.....with over a year old, how is the Racedeck holding up? You happy with the free-flow? Does it work as designed?

Very neat and clean garage! I am sure you are fussy about cleanliness as your pics depict, so is it easy to clean and how do you go about it?

Sorry for all the questions as I have been doing a lot of research on Racedeck and want to be sure about it before I drop lot's of $$$$.
