When looking at the mark on the floor for the inner line of the garage door, is it necessary to set back the first row of square tiles to allow for the sloped edge to just touch that line? Hope I'm explaining this so it's understandable.

I have been told by Racedeck that the tiles should be inside the weather seal of the garage door. A member on the forum has done it differently (went outside line so the door sits on tiles) with no problems. I'm guessing the problem is warping of the tiles in the sun when they are outside the garage (some in direct sun and some not).

The tapered edge piece should start 1/2-3/4" back from the innermost part of the bottom of the door.
