Hello all,
I purchased my current home about 10 years ago. The shop floor had been stained when built but after two years the stain was looking pretty bad and was peeling like crazy.

This was before I found this forum so in my ignorance I had commercial VCT tile put down in a black and white checkerboard pattern.

Since then, I have tried feverishly to keep it looking good but all my efforts have fallen short of expectations. I even hired a professional floor company for a couple of years but I was still less than impressed.

After reading many comments on this site about RaceDeck I decided it was worth a try. I contacted Jorgen and ordered the tile.
My shop is 30 x 40 and my measurements were a bit off so I am saving up to get another couple boxes to fill in under the lift. In the meantime, here are some pictures of what the shop looks like now.

This shop gets used and I have made a couple pretty good messes since putting down the new flooring. With little effort it cleaned up effortlessly.

Thanks Jorgen for a great product, I couldn't be more pleased!!!

I plan to put cabinet doors on all the shelves next.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I consider myself very fortunate to have a great shop to work in.
I plan to make doors for all the cabinets next so all my junk don't show.lol
Then I am going to repaint everything.

Midntredr,
No, it is not the original but an all steel tribute. Jason and Jerry Slover (owners of the original) were great help in making this car a reality. This car was chopped sitting next to the original so measurements could be taken to replicate the Bonneville chop perfectly. I machined a louver die based on a template from the Slovers that was used to recreate all the lovers in size, shape and position also based on schmatics they provided.
The original flames were digitized and recreated in a full scale stensil. We even copied the differences between the drivers and passengers side.

Cheers!
