58a801884c859731ee5e2c8b3ed2c657.jpgSuper excited to FINALLY pull the trigger and decide on what garage tile I thought was best for me. After reading up and getting samples for the past 6 months from various manufacturers and creating different floor designs to the point of insanity I gave up and decided on RD freeflow...I took a few pics of the garage (20x23) in its current state this evening. I will continue to update as this journey is finally coming to an end.

From first hand "sample" experience, RD is it. modutile and speedway looked promising, but I'm not going to go into detail with them or create a VS thread. All I can say is if you on the fence about tuffness or withstand ability, look no further.

Thank you! :rocker:
what I love most about this tile is it doesn't put off those white stress marks when the color/tile is stretched. I beat one sample with a hammer, "wife thought I was crazy" and surprisingly the next morning not all but some of the dents leveled Back out

Today is the big day, I got the garage cleaned for the most part. I will have to juggle my storage cabinets and work bench as I put it down... I hope ups runs early enough so I can upload some afters. 2fd6e13b57c85fb458cd7380f619209f.jpg

The biggest reason was tire pick up I would say. I remember growing up my dad having to redo his floor every few years it seemed like. The main reason I went with the freeflow wasnt for draining purposes, but for the least expansion as possible, "compared to solid tiles"and the design throws off a cool carbon fiber type look at different angles. this garage will see minimum work and this should be a permanent application for me, "I hope"

That floor plan image, I've seen it on another thread, is that on RaceDeck's webpage? Or is there a program everyone is using to test floor design?

It's on RD'S Website. I created this one that best suited me for my garage size

It's a designer, punch in the size and start adding color and tile type

Perfect. Your garage looks awesome though. I'm still in the design phase. Not sure yet in the tile vs RD battle. I imagine it will depend on cost & design when I get there.

Goodluck and don't over beat yourself on designs. After you get it down, it'll look awesome no matter what you pick

Thanks for the comment about not being sure on the free flow tile from seeing just a sample. When I got the sample, I wondered if it was almost too free flow/open. Mr. Mueller was kind enough to send me a sample of the regular race deck to compare. Living in the Midwest, I really like the features and benefits that the free flow offers. I wonder if they would deliver my tile in the Maliboost..:)

Your welcome! After I got the whole system layed out it was night and day compared to 1 sample...1 sample actually disappointed me haha.
