Racedeck painting

Good morning, I would like to change the color of my racedeck flooring. Has anyone ever tried to repaint their racedeck.what type of paint and how well did it last. I really don’t want to buy a whole new floor. Thanks for any help. Butch

Hi Butch. Paint does not stick to plastic very well. In addition, paint does not do well in a garage environment, even though it adheres to concrete much better than plastic. You would soon have paint peeling up from hot tire pickup and paint on the tops of the Diamonds or Coin pattern wearing off from foot traffic.

You could try sell your old Racedeck.

We do not recommend repainting RaceDeck. It is very difficult to get anything to stick. Even with our primers we use for custom painted logos, the cost would offset greatly of selling you floor and buying a new one with your GJ member discount
