Guys:

I just wanted to pass along a good deed done by RaceDeck today. Through my own mistake last week, I shorted myself on an order I placed with them; I mis-counted the number of a particular color of tile that I needed, ordering only eight when I should have ordered twelve. Consequently, I called RaceDeck this morning and spoke with Jennifer. When I explained what I had done, she took down what I needed and, after verifying my shipping address, proceeded to end the call. When I asked for a total on the order so I could keep track of my expenses, she told me that they would be free of charge!! I once again stated that it was my mistake and not theirs, to which she just said that they appreciated my business and she would take care of it for me.

This is just not something that we seem to hear of much these days and I just wanted to pass it on to all the folks here. Kudos to RaceDeck, not only for their product but for their customer service!! Outstanding, to say the least!!

I love when companies go the extra mile!
I realize that most of the time, the reason they are able to do it is because the added cost to them is negligible, often due to the original cost of the product being at a premium. But I don't even care. The fact is that they don't HAVE to do that, and even the companies making 99 center on the dollar will still often gouge you for the additional money.

Kudos RD.

Sometimes it seems like companies forget what doing the right thing is. Kudos to RaceDeck for going above and beyond!

This is something that people shouldn't expect and truly shows how much RD goes above and beyond for their customers.

I do not own Race deck and I've never seen one done in person but i do have respect for the company because of the things they do for people here on these forums. Hopefully one day i will have it laid down in my garage!

Yeah - Jen is great. Sent me samples twice without charging. The competitor charged me and then took weeks to deliver - by the time I had the other sample I already had racedeck installed. A class outfit all the way.

You're not going to make Jenn brown-bag her lunch for the next couple of weeks, are you?

Seriously, good on ya for excellent customer service.
