RaceDeck Problem -moving out of garage

I just installed RaceDeck Freeform in garage last weekend and now the floor is moving out of garage. It has come out about 3" and pulled some tiles apart at back of garage where some can not move outward because around door jam.This must be some force applied to floor to move outward and pull some tiles apart. All we are doing is driving autos in and out.
floor is just standard cement garage floor with some old floor paint on it and no significant cracks.

Anyone else having this problem or any ideas how to fix?

I am going to call RaceDeck tomorrow but wondered if anyone had ideas I could try ?
I had just found this forum and researched floors and thought I had found good floor but not so sure now about RaceDeck.

The painted floor isn't helping. Plastic on paint can create a slippery surface. By any chance is the driveway leading to the garage very steep? Do you have FWD or RWD cars? Is there anything else that sits on the floor other than the cars?

The driveway is flat. both vehicles are AWD. I have coolers and golf bags on floor . Here is picture of garage just after finished installing

Lag a threashold into the floor where the floating plastic tiles start.

That is a weird one. My guess is that the car on the right side is the culprit and the driver is starting in reverse and then braking rapidly as the car clears the door opening which is "pulling" the floor backward with it. Also exacerbated by your painted floor as indicated above. I have a bunch of heavy stuff on my floor at the end opposite the garage doors so maybe this holds the floor down. I advise you to tell your wife that you need to go out and buy a $5,000 tool bench and fill it with tools immediately.

This happened to me one time in about 7 years of race deck ownership. I was backing out and thought I might not be clearing the door frame and stabbed the brake. The vehicle had better adhesion to the race deck that the race deck did to the painted floor. If you are smooth and unhurried with brake application, you will not have a problem.

I had reached out to GarageFlooring,LLC who I bought from and RaceDeck and received response from GarageFlooring that RaceDeck says to place 2ft wide carpet gripper pad under tiles at entrance. I 'll try this but I'm not sure it will work because the one picture shows that the tile in the doorway is damaged due to the amount of force.

I had the same problem the first few weeks I had the flooring. You just can't brake too quickly on the floor. If you brake quickly when backing out with the rear wheels outside the garage. the tiles will pull apart. Just the opposite when pulling in and the tiles will stack up. I have an epoxy floor underneath so pretty smooth. I don't suggest the carpet pad since the tiles are designed for water that flows through to drip out, particularly if your garage has the right pitch

I believe you may have emailed with Cora and she emailed back with a a product to use as underlayment. Either that or we have someone with exact same issue. There is a carpet grip oproduct that can be used as underlayment under the first 3-4 rows. Lauren at Snaplock can help you or send me a PM

Well it has been over a week since I placed some carpet grip underlayment and floor has stayed in place. I am concerned as Theruse points out how this will inhibit the underflow function of these tiles and may have to lift up floor at entrance sometimes to help with blowing out and cleaning and will probably have to replace at intervals if it become moldy but overall really like how floor looks and functions and looking forward to many years of use.

Don't forget that RaceDeck has a lifetime guarantee. They will replace the damaged tiles.

My Race Deck FreeFlow has been down for 3 1/2 years in a 2 car garage. Her daily driver is on one side so that side sees a lot of in and out. The other side has my classic Mustang Mach 1 so that side sees much less traffic. Never have I had a problem similar to yours badeacon. The back wall of my garage is lined with cabinets and refrigerator and deep freezer and roller toolbox. All of that is setting on the FreeFlow and anchors the tiles really well. I would suggest "easy in-easy out". Good luck. CJDave.
