Hi All,

Anyone know if the flow through tiles can be added as a border or strip, integrated with the traditional floor tile to allow water to escape? Do the traditional tiles allow doe water to escape underneath?

I don't really like the look of the entire floor when flow through is used, but a strip or two between bays might be OK.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi -
Yes, you can interlock FreeFlow with all styles of RaceDeck and all styles allow full drainage and air-circulation under the surface.
If you visit our photo gallery you will find many photos of both being used together http://www.racedeck.com/racedeckgallery/index.html
We are also happy to work with you in creating a cool design for your garage just give us a call. In the meantime you can create on our garage floor designer tool here http://www.racedeck.com/designer.php

One of the things I saw when I was looking into plastic tiles were people talking about the sound the tiles made when walking on them. I did FreeFlow tiles throughout my garage and also installed an AccuPark. The Accupark comes with a couple of regular tiles for the base. Walking on them prior to putting the Accupark piece on top does generate a significant amount of noise. The rest of the floor with FreeFlow is virtually silent. Sound wasn't a factor in my choice of tile, but I do consider it a bonus.
