Racedeck versus Garagedeck -Tile Gap

Hey Guys,

I am wanting opinions (preferable empirical ones, lol), on garagedeck tiles versus racedeck tiles.

I am curious as to the seam (gap) in these tiles when they are snapped together. I have looked at various pictures of the racedeck tiles and the junction where the tiles come together shows what looks to be a minimal gap (if any). My question is are the garagedeck tiles similiar if not the same in terms of the gap. I know they have the same interlocking mechanism, but I have seen pictures on this forum of motordeck tiles and you can definitely see a perceptible gap in the pictures of those tiles locked together.

I have 1500 sq ft of Garage Deck down and the gap varies all over the floor from no gap to a small gap that you can see the floor thru if you look close or directly under lights. I don't think that no gap at all is a good thing because the tiles "grow" with direct sunlight on them. Mine buck up pretty good in front of the open garage door when the hot sunshine is on them and about 1/16 inch when cold.
