RaceDeck vs. Rolling Equipment

Hi Folks,

My first post. I'm building a new shop and planning flooring. Building permit should show up tomorrow. I've been looking at RaceDeck (OpenFlow pattern) and Swisstrax (RibTrax pattern). Both of these have an open "grate" style which means ridges.

Anyone know how these tiles affect rolling equipment with casters across the floor? Like toolboxes, carts, shop vacs, and oil drains. Sure don't want the oil drain tank tipping over when rolling it across the floor!

Ken,
The toolboxes, carts and shop vacs all will roll fine on the Ribtrax. As long as the casters are not small you should not have any issue.

If you would like a few samples of of the RibTrax to test them for yourself just let me know and we will send some out.
