After a lot of searching on here about racedeck durability i called and received a sample to look at. I like what i saw but using the edge of a screwdriver and hitting it lightly it left indentions on the racedeck. My concern is with small stones getting between the treads of the tires and marring the floor up simular to my screwdriver test. I'm i asking more than this product gives under every day use. Thanks

Never had a problem with stones marking the tiles. I dont drive in and out everyday though. try racedeck of PA. if you decide to purchase. They have specials at all the large shows at Carlisle, York, etc.

Bear in mind that this is a flooring product that you are going to be parking a 3,000 pound vehicle on on a daily basis. It's not a shiny wood floor in a dining room that is going to be used once a month for company. I've had mine down for a year and a half and it still looks great. I've done quite a bit of work in the garage over that time and two cars have been in and out on a regular basis. If I get down on my hands and knees I can see a few nicks here and there, but overall it's fine. The diamond plate pattern hides a mulitude of sins, so if you like the look of the product, go for it.

I work in my garage and my floor is getting damaged but under the lift where I park my daily driver, the floor is as good as new. The pebbles won't hurt the floor at all. Now weld splatter sure will

I understand that i can't keep it perfect unless we never move the car's out of the garage But with our stone driveway and having two car's going in and out daily i was worried if it would take it's toll on the racedeck over time. Where we live i have nobody around my area that i know who has racedeck in there garage to look at up close. So spending this kind of money tends to make me a little nervous. I appreciate everyone replying to my question. Thanks

With the race deck, what about fluid spills. Like if you are changing your oil and accidently spill some. Will it just seep right into the cracks between the tiles? I assume for someone what works in the garage a lot with messy/dirty jobs these might take a lot of abuse.

Also how do they work with jacks and jack stands? Do these leave any marks.

Sounds like its in part of the state that is really pretty.. Erie is pretty flat for the most part..

Yes, it will seep between the tiles and make a heck of mess on the concrete below, I will let you know how bad a mess in 20-30 years when I move. Its not a big deal.

Jacks have not left marks but I have been told that jack stands can, my stands have a plate on the legs so no marks.

That is kind of what I thought. For my garage I'm always pulling in cars with snow and slush on them in the winter too. I can't image how damp my garage would stay with all that water melting on it and seeping below.

I don't think these tiles will work well for me. Unfortunately.

They have channels to allow the water to dry up or drain, I doubt these would be a problem for you.
