We did alot of cool upgrades to this unit bought it bare with the awning that i never opened. routered out the floor to add in E track flush, and installed two Harbor Frieght Bottom Boxes in the front of the trailer. Was a great trailer until i bought the Turbo Dune buggy and had no space.

in Comes the replacement Trailer:

So trying to move into the trailer i found out quickly how much i could not deal with the craftsman plastic case for my tools and different bags/ plastics bins for my tools.

So the Hunt Begins...

now if you look at the photos up there there is not enough room to fit the normal 56" or 72" toolbox on the wall inbetween the lift and the counter. so this limited my choices alot!!

Well i finally found a box for reasonable enough that i pulled the trigger on it used but perfect

During the same time frame i got the Toolbox i found some forgotten funds in my investment account and purchased a 200volt pulsed arc mig welder/stick/spoolgun Combo and paired that with a 40amp Plasma cutter. you can see the welder in the last photo.

I made an improvement to the air conditioning in the trailer didn't take any photos but i purchases a 12000 BTU window unit a/c and shoved it in though the generator door that opens through the cabinet doors.

and Now for X-mas im going to order the flat platform for the lift so you can stand up there or remove a panel for working on something. makes it much easier to put atv's on the lift and get them out of the way. here is a crappy website photo i found of what im talking about

Also going to add the jack plate so i can lift a car off the lift to do suspension work or something else.

Also i had to respool the 4000# winch for the back door that door is so rediculously heavy it nearly crushed me while i was trying to let it down a few degrees without a big shock load on the winch cable. Note to self that door weights 1000+ lbs being 11ft tall and steel.

One of the major Hurdles i found when i went to hookup the Coach and the trailer for first time. Oh man the coach has a 500/5000# hitch on it thats not gonna work!
Upon inspection on how to remove it, i found it was cracked all the way across the bottom tube from someone hitting the hitch tube on the ground at a steep angle.

out with the mud flaps, the exhaust off the motor home, and down with the Hitch oh this will be easy i thought. Grabbed my 3ft breaker bar fresh from HF slide on 1 1/8" socket and stand on the end of bar. Bar bends down to ground bolt doesn't budge... Ruh ROh!

Okay so ill go get the freshly purchased 1/2" big daddy Makita impact gun to make quick work of these bolts!

NO, NO, NO, 3 dead batterys later not even moving these bolts

Okay wrench and hammer after applying PB blaster for a few days, after nearly killing ourselves trying to use a hammer on the wrench that bounced like a pogo stick i knew what had to be done.

On to the internet to find a 1000+ ftlb impact gun
settled on this one and it was even shipped from my Home town back in Spokane WA
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Q8A98M/?tag=atomicindus08-20

So now that i have a awesome new impact air gun, what do i use to give it air.
So the craigslist search begins and i found a gas powered honda engined hitachi twin tank air compressor for 450$ new never used.

Now were in Business i thought!

So bring that home to the RV park, get my colleague from next door and we try to rattle off the bolts. Well that didn't happen either.

after running through 3 tanks of air, we applied more pb blaster and i got out a hand held propane torch and we heated the nuts as best we could and then went after it again. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

Now im at a loss of what to do there is not enough room to use one of the 3/4-1" massive impact guns let alone the air supply for one out here in the middle of no where.

So i slide out from under the coach and walk into the trailer to find me a mini sledge hammer thinking maybe its rusted so much in there it needs a wack or two to break loose

After beating on them a bit and at the very end of the next tank of air it made a couple slight rotations. VOILA Progresss!!!!!!!!!!!

Let the compressor catch up and repeat the process to remove the rest of the bolts.

Then i searched high and low for a hitch that i could just buy and bolt on with minimal modifications. well looking at the 1500+$ basica hitches for 20,000# ratings i decided i had to make a hitch.

Found a local Trailer Welding shop that specialized in this they upgraded the 1/8" 3 Diameter square tube to 1/4" wall 4" tube and some big shackle mounts for the chain hook up, Had it powdercoated and Installed it with the 150$ worth of New Shouldered Bolts.

And then comes the Equalizer hitch 14,000# Equalizer brand.
Well i though everything was gravy as the literature said it would fit any trailer frame, well with extra not included bracket it sort of fits.

Definately too much pressure on the bars but i had no other choice had to move the coach 800miles to new location.

and all hooked up

But on the plus side she drives like a dream and the coach pulls the trailer awesome! even at 65-70mph down the freeway it has no issues

How do you move the truck if the trailer is hooked up to the motor home?

Seperate Driver, i have thought about putting truck into trailer with the buggy removed but it will over load the trailer axle capacity and also be a tight fit.

this is why you see the picture above with the tow bar for the motor home so i can make two trips as i need the truck for work.
