Glad you adopted your pup. We're on our 20 something foster. We always tell their new families that it takes a few weeks for them to open up. I hope you've had a good experience with her.

Finally able to use my reloading bench and get some rounds cranked out last night. Also made a slight upgrade to my press lol




I cant wait to finish this space up.

Also wiped some dust off the mustang and it just looks so good in here.


1 week and my grass is looking much better!

So some small updates here. I started on the drain pipe for the washer. Please dont ask about the couplers, im not happy with it but since its going to be in the wall i dont care lol. I need to wait for my buddy with a hole hawg because drilling the studs with a 2.5" hole saw i might of broke a bone in my hand when it caught a screw and slammed it into another stud. Fun. Lots of curse words and maybe a broken drill after i threw it.


So after that disaster i figured id start on the pegboard for my reloading bench. (Have i mentioned i really need a table saw?) Got a coat of paint on it.

Got a new powder drop for reloading. This is a cadillac compared to my last one.

it does drive me absolutely nuts, without a doubt. what im doing is prepping everything so I don't have to space it down to cover it. im moving all the wiring and redoing the plumbing. I don't have that much height so I need every inch I can get so Id rather screw the sheetrock right to the joists. once im done moving everything its getting done. trust me I absolutely hate lol

Really liking the reloading area. My dad likes to reload, and I have hung out with him trying to learn a thing or two. If his room was as clean and organized as yours I imagine we could really crank out some ammo.

yeah its definitely a nice skill set to have. especially if you do a lot of shooting. I cant wait to get some cabinets and get more of this stuff off my bench lol. this is cluttered to me

So i guess you can say i hit the jackpot yesterday but i dont want to phrase it like that. My buddies dad died years back and he was a fabricator/ metal worker and a hoarder. So him and his mother are looking to move and are clearing out the garage that is packed to the rafters. He gave me everything you see below.


There is so much stuff its unreal. I hope to own 1/3rd of what this man owned. I counted 14 vices and thats just ones i could see. Im glad he gave me a nice american made vice so i could get rid of the junk harbor freight on.



Now i have 2 columbian vises.

Needed all the ammo cans so i could stop storing spent brass in kitty food containers

Getting the yard looking good and added shutters to the front windows. They were long over do

so I bought an led fixture yesterday from home depot for 35 bucks. its small and 2300 lumens I wanted to compare to my other ones that are 70 a piece to see if I can get away with the cheaper ones. im still on the fence about them but if I add 2 extra to get the extra light it might be worth it. I dunno yet. I put it over my reloading bench because I needed more light in there. it doesn't broadcast that far from end to end but I guess that's normal.

Street legal is over rated, just don't get caught and you'll be fine. As for your mop bucket, I can honestly say I've never mopped my garage floor, but your floor looks much better than mine ever has.

sadly I haven't been doing much work ON the garage as late as the weather has been nice and im 2 years into getting just my front yard presentable to the rest of the neighborhood. but I do have some pictures!!

im starting to get my mowing lines pretty crisp. I still need to move that wood pile off the porch as well


finally putting this briggs power washer I won to use. washing the house and the front walkway and porch. what a world of difference.


the wife took over for a couple of minutes so I could enjoy a cold one.



night and day difference. I wish I took before pictures but I honestly didn't know it was that bad



started to build a small patio in the back yard with some free 6x6 I got. I will be tearing up the cinder blocks to the left and leveling this all and filling with pea stone for now.


my sister in law beyond excited to use the new griddle we bought. cooked 4 steaks on it and it was great! sadly this is going up to my property in NH because its a nightmare to do cooking with just a grill. I might have to buy a 2nd one for home



and lastly while working on the car my pup wanted to lay on me instead.

Love that exhaust on the mustang: I had to do a double take on the way you cut the hole and put a little vinyl (I believe) detail around the fender opening.

A question: do you move that 'stang around enough to justify the cost of the wheel-dollies? I have been considering purchasing a set but don't like the wampum required.

Harbor freight dollies aren't much, way cheaper then the pump style ones.

its actually a stainless trim ring that is riveted to the body, supposed to keep the heat away from the paint. supposed to lol

I do move the car around a lot in the garage, usually to the wall so I have more space and the dollies are from harborfreight I think with a 25% off coupon they were around 100 bucks. WORTH EVERY PENNY lol I love these things

whats up guys! been a long time since ive updated this mainly because I haven't done anything lol. I picked up golf as a hobby and between that and the race car I have had no time for anything else lol. but now winter is quickly approaching I have started some things!.

we tore down the old bathroom because of how badly it was built but I never built a new one. well last weekend we changed that. probably the only square thing in the entire basement and garage. I made it about 4" wider so I can have some spread out room, know what im saying? lol I also really really hate sheetrock.

slowly getting everything done for the washer and dryer to get out of my garage bay! god I cant wait for that day. I am BY NO MEANS a plumber lol but I am replacing that drain because my god that came out bad.

also changed around my reloading/ storage area. I move the cabinet from the left to the right side which made it feel so much bigger. ive also added on to my reloading bench which was a great move. so much user friendly now. I just want to add a corner kitchen cabinet and 2 on either side.

lol I have the sheetrock for it, its 5/8th fire barrier so I need some friends to come over and I haven't quite finished wiring the upstairs and im not entirely to happy with my light placement or light choices so once I figure that out I will be sheetrocking the ceiling. im switching the house over to 200 amp service and I don't want to close the ceiling up and forget something lol

whats up guys. little more progress. finally got a full size fridge for the garage instead of a small one. much nicer to have lol I had to add an outlet in for it though.

also finally took the shelving unit out of the garage and set it up in the boiler room to handle all the house stuff. so I can keep the car and house stuff separate.

took my first crack at sweating copper. not the prettiest job but that comes with time. but none of it leaks and it works lol. when we did my hot water heater I just put a new mixing valve in cause my old one went bad so I kept it knowing I wanted to do this. so I will have sustained 75ish degree water to the garden hose which I am moving into the garage so I don't have to worry about it freezing outside. next purchase is a 100' flexilla garden hose and a hose reel.
