Of all the offering out there, what's your favorite? What would you like to see more of? Would you like to see the hard handles return in some of the new ratchet offerings? Are things just fine the way they are

I love flex head comfort handles! I can use chrome and knurled, but the comfort handles just feel much better IMO

Knurled is my overall favorite; easy to clean, easy to grip with greasy hands, and the grip will never break.

I'm probably wearing gloves if it's that cold out. My personal preference is for chrome on a flat, smooth handle followed by a knurled round handle. No reason really.

most of the time i dont have enough room to have gloves on, nor can i feel what i'm working on, let alone see it :lol_hitti
i wear latex or nitrile gloves under another pair of gloves.
i'm a field service heavy eq. mechanic, tools sit in a cold truck 24/7
i dont stop working no matter what the temp is. the only thing that prevents me from working is if the roads are impassable like they were a couple weeks ago.
ive been out working in air temps of -15*, -20*
with wind chills as low as -55* & -60*,
near white out conditions, or rain blowing sideways.

also been on the other end of the spectrum,
worked in central fl for 15 years in 100* heat and humidity, ive had plastic cover plates in my welding hood melt, and had glass filters get so hot that sweat dripping onto them cracked em in several pieces.

gezzzzz,
i think my job *****, whay am i still doing this anyway?:headscrat

I like a little variety. Most of the time, I use a knurled handle ratchet.

Lots of people like the old Snappy hard-handled ratchets. So.....I have picked up a couple used ones recently that I am itching to try. :)

Bring em back:rocker:

I like chrome handles, however the garage Journal has rubbed off on me and I have taken another look at the Snap On older style handles. I personally do not like the new style modern two composite handles at all, I cut the one off a brand new ratchet and did a little conversion.

which one looks better to you guys?

Chromed or knurled as long as I can insert a cheater on it. If I can't get a cheater on it I don't want it. ;)

Chrome most of the time. But every now and then I like to switch to comfort grip, usually a bi-material grip rubber/plastic.

I have the Cman 3/8" and 1/2" round chrome ratchets. The 3/8" Cman was put in the truck kit, so I picked up a Beta 3/8" on an Amazon deal.

At first I wasn't sure if I liked the larger "ergo" style of the Beta handle. But after a few uses I was sold. The ergo grip gives me a larger handhold and doesn't slip with greasy hands.

I like chrome handles best. They are easy to just wipe off with a rag when you're done using them. I like to keep my stuff as clean as possible and with straight chrome, I find it's the easiest.

Having been trained on S-K knurled round handles, I have to say I'm most comfortable using it. Never realy liked the Craftsman rectangular tapered I-beam handles, but lately, I'm seeing their benefits.
However, my recent FACOM acquisition is definitely giving my traditional opinions a challenge! The oblong plasticized grip is really comfortable to hold and manipulate.
