Racine Tool and Machine bandsaw

I picked up an old bandsaw recently.
I really did not need another bandsaw but this one is just too cool.
A 14" saw made by Racine Tool and Machine Company.

Looking forward to getting this one into my shop!

Does it have a gear selector on the back?

That is too cool! I was born and grew up in Racine, I now live just a few miles from the city itself. Racine had numerous manufacturing companies, some are still here some have moved or are no longer in business. Everything from car body’s to air rifles we made here.

This one does not.

Correct
That is a 12” Yates jointer.
The plan is for that to go into my shop as well.

That is a sweet saw. Racine used to be a big manufacturing hub. I work at a foundry/machine shop in Racine. It's really cool to see things like this that used to be made here. I have probably driven past the old plant that used to make them!
