Racing Red Floor Crazy Issue

I finished my Armorpoxy racing red floor in my dyno room about 2 weeks ago and started having the craziest problem. Hummingbirds!!! We open 4- 10x8 doors for ventilation and since the floor have gotten hummingbirds in there every single day. Before the floor we only had 1 hummingbird come in there. With the bright red floor and white walls and ceiling its like a magnet for them apparently. We have 15ft ceiling so its not easy getting them out. Any ideas on how to keep them from coming in?

The racing red floor looks really awesome IMO and was worth all the work. Will post some pictures soon.

That is crazy, but I guess understandable. That would be a tricky one to forsee. Have you tried putting some real humming bird feeders outside near the area? Give them a better place to find food than your shop floor.

Great idea! They love sugar water.

Thats the first the thing we tried, they fly right past them.

Shop cat?

not an option

simple screen door if the room is closed

4- 10x8 screen doors are not an option at the moment.

Place two CD's back to back and hang one on the eave above each door with fishing line. Works great to keep woodpeckers off the house, maybe it will work for humming birds.

Your dyno room is 40 feet long? Thought you had a closed off room like most dyno setups. Maybe you're talking in floor. That's tough to solve

Will give it a try. Open one door today for less than 5 minutes and another hummingbird flew in.

Our chassis dyno room is 26x24 with 4-10x8 roll up doors for ventilation. We tried AC before but with high horse power cars and all the exhaust fans it was feasible so on the new shop we went roll up doors. Its working really well except for our strange hummingbird issue since doing the floor red.
