Had been wanting to streamline my hardware storage and needed some more capacity so finally got around to building some racks. Lots lof inspiration from Garage Journal (thanks!) and put my own spin on them. I wanted to keep them simple (and cheap) so no fancy drawer slides, but I chose to build a 2.5 stack to have a shelf to set the Plano 3700 cases on when digging through them.
After posting about these, I got a lot of interest to build these and other models for customers. Started iterating to make improvements for assembly, modularity and shipping. I love optimizing my workspace and looking forward to offering these to others seeking some organization solutions also. Hopefully a bit of self promotion for some relevant, enthusiast made products is allowed here (if not, sorry! please let me know and I'll pull the post/links).
