I'am about to hook up my in floor heat. I've got a 1800 sq ft shop with 6 run of 250-300 ft of 1/2" pexs. 2" of insulation under floor and 2ft down around the sides.I'am looking at a natural gas boiler at menards. Looks alot like a on demand water heater. Just under a $1000. They also sell a complete hook up system on a mounting broad with all the bells and whisles for $1600. Do I really need this to make the system work Right? Can't a guy just do a simple hook up with pump. expansion tank,a few valves,and thermisat?
