Radiant barrier insulation

Should I put the foil side of radiant barrier insulation board towards the outside or inside of a metal pole barn. I live in southern Indiana.

It goes to the air space so usually inside.
You could face it up to the outside if you're putting down furring strips then your roof sheathing

If you are heating you want to "radian"t back inside.
So facing in.
If you are cooling, the opposite.
