I'm going to be pouring a slab in a 100+ year old barn, since I'm going to be doing this I thought nows the time to put in radiant floor heat. This slab will be 20x40 I'm in western Washington so our winters are fairly mild. Mainly looking to see how to lay it out.

Rule of thumb is a foot of pex for every square foot of space. So that will be approx. 275' So you will need close to 900' of 1/2" pex, runs spaced every 12" apart....possibly 6" apart on the outside perimeter where the heat loss wild be greater. Don't know if this helps you or not. Lots of posts on this.....lots of photos. Good luck.
