First off, I have reached the end of the internet including this site for the answer to my question, but have yet to find the answer.

I have attached a hand drawn image to illustrate my question as it would be hard to explain it.

I am installing radiant heat in my barn slab and im comfortable doing everything myself but the one issue I can not find an answer to is the thermal edge isolation detail. I plan on putting 2" rigid foam 24" deep vertically around the perimeter of my barn but I don't understand the detail and how and where it should be installed. Please feel free to open my hand drawn sketch in Microsoft paint and mark up the detail how and where the foam should be placed. The drawing is for the most part to scale, one block=1"x1"

Thanks in advance for the help,

Steve

with 6" of concrete I would not worry about parking the dozer over the foam, besides the fact it would mess the concrete up. My neighbor has 6" with 25 psi foam and puts his tri-axle dumps on it, and they have much higher ground pressure than a d3 and they weigh twice as much.

Extra thermal break.

As long as the slab is thermally isolated most of the way around, it will be fine. #2 or #3 both will work. Personally, I'd do a combination, use #3 where there is higher loads, and #2 where there won't be. I'd probably omit the vertical foam at the garage door openings to avoid issues with ground compaction.

I would be concerned about getting the ground compacted under the strip that is under the wall, I'd omit that one.
