Radiant slab heating control and zone panel DIY parts list

Hello everyone, I took a day to research on a DIY method of making my own heating and zone control panel and how much that would compare to a ready to install system like Menards offers.

Ready system with heating, 2 zone control panel, 115k BTU condensing boiler with 4 port and 6 port manifolds would run me $6,420 before taxes and rebates.

DIY system would cost me $3,239 before taxes and rebates. That's a big saving doing it myself. I am doing it myself, yes all fittings are sweat not push fit. Changing fittings to push fit like SharkBite would raise the price.

I have provided a spreadsheet for the parts needed. If anyone knows where to get any items cheaper, please let me know and I can update the spreadsheet. Also if I'm forgetting anything let me know too.

Where is ur primary loop pump? Primary / secondary loop. 3000' pex what size and length are the 10 loops 300'? per x 2 manifolds. Guess solder, flux,flux brushes, sand cloth, gas and didn't see any pipe or plywood or ?
Not trying to beat u up there's always more. Boiler looks good 3k of tubing 32 btu per ft 96k. What exact pump model are u looking at for secondary loop? Missing thermostat and boiler antifreeze for 30 gallons in system. Has to be minimum 30% for the inhibitor package.

I do realize the list is not complete as I have all the tools and stuff to finish from there. I will update the list soon as I can with all required items needed.

system is a closed loop system

I listed 3 pumps, they all are the same 1/25hp pumps, 1 for main, 1 for each zone.

Pex is 1/2 inch oxygen barrier, They're not all exact 300', the longest one is 285' and shortest one is 115' I believe. I lost the design at the moment, I will recover it and come back with a more accurate total length.

I used my neighbor's system as a reference to help me find items. so I am following his system mostly.

I would love to see what your as built parts list ended up at and pictures of your system. I'm starting to gather parts for my pump wall. Same style dual zone closed system just with EM-MS-20 electro boiler.

This is my system I build, the blank spot on left of boiler is where the tankless water heater will go. I did not complete my parts list as I bought a whole bunch of stuff and just started making it then returned the extras. The picture should help you see what it is. Some from Menards, Supplyhouse, and pexuniverse. I think the only thing from pexuniverse were the manifolds.
