I just picked up a used radiant tube heater. He gave me the venting that he had it installed with. My question is, it uses a balanced flue, so basically the heat exhaust is in the middle of the vent. With this setup, do I still need to use a special wall thimble when venting through the wall, or will the outer vent not get hot enough to matter?
