In and out still at 110 & 70. Something I'll have to live with.

The delta is greater vs ideal. 20 is what you shoot for. It depend on the tubing layout what the cold (70 is cold) water is doing to the overall slab Once the temp stops equalizing the human body radiation -- you feel cold.

There are many reason for cold return -- loops too long -- loops too far apart -- too little insulation --- circulator too slow or undersized.

In very well insulated building were the water temp has to be very low -- counter flow is down and the tubes are often two loops together. This way the return is tempered.

The good thing is a water heater does not care about the return temp

Redraptor....I was curious to know how the system reacted to the last couple days here in W PA? Sunday there was 1.5 inches of snow and Monday by mid afternoon it was 65*followed by Tuesday at 70 something. Did you have overshoot?

No. I'm not using a slab t-stat and it's mounted on the outside wall. When it got warm it just didn't run. And the temp stayed at 55. I keep it shut up except for moving vehicles in and out.

Here is my setup.

Gas reg I was given for a demand heater last week said they work better a min 4' of run away from the unit. Something about fluctuating pressure if mounted too close. Pretty sure it was a Honeywell reg. and not sure how across the board that is. Something to file away and/or check into if there seems to be a performance issue with the heater.
