From what I've read, I think the key is consistent temps on the in side. If your heater can do this, then I say run it and enjoy it! Thanks for the updates.

No. I'm not using a slab t-stat and it's mounted on the outside wall. When it got warm it just didn't run. And the temp stayed at 55. I keep it shut up except for moving vehicles in and out.Redraptor....I was curious to know how the system reacted to the last couple days here in W PA? Sunday there was 1.5 inches of snow and Monday by mid afternoon it was 65*followed by Tuesday at 70 something. Did you have overshoot?
