Radio mount

I bought the wife and I radios for the mowers, but they won't fit on the fenders due to the size. I had some steel stock and channel, so I rigged up a mount. It was from some old pallet racking. I sanded it and shot it with bedliner, but it has like a vinyl paint. I'll pull it back off and get it sandblasted, then paint it proper. Today, I have to make a mount for momma's JD Garden Tractor. Have to have tunes while mowing And disregard the bungy....it's just there as it was on another part of the tractor but serves no purpose.

The only issue I would see is if you would ever have to fold down the roll bar for any reason and that is if it would interfere with anything or the wires weren't long enough to allow it to hinge

I have headphones that plug into it, but the cord is not long enough if I have to turn my head here and there.

As far as folding down the roll bar, I can drop it to about the 30 degree position but not all of the way down. And as long as I have owned the tractor, I have only dropped the roll bar once anyways.

That's a neat accessory. Self contained radio box with antenna and weather cover. I kind of want to make one now.

That, and a roll bar for my mower too.
