In general it should be OK. Certainly not great, but possibly good enough. Functions worse, it will be fine. The biggest question is safety wise. Looking at the jacks 1)no fuse at all on the 10A range, not good 2)there is no such thing as Cat II 500v. That doesn't exist. unless it's like $10 or less, I would pass.

Always check against a known source before checking for voltage on an unknown & you'll be fine.

Got it for $5, thought it worth the risk, if it's a Doo Doo ill just toss it.

I have 5 or 6 of the "free" Harbor freight ones scattered throughout the house and garage for quickie use. I'd just get a couple of of those.
I also have a couple of REAL ones for things that requires precision
