Rafter Vents for 4' Truss Spacing

Does anyone have photos of how they installed rafter vents with 4' truss spacing?

Looking for ideas since 24" seems to be the widest available from what I've seen. Was thinking about possibly using house wrap instead of the plastic vents.

The vents/chutes I have seen and are in my house aren't nearly 24" across. Seems like you could just use several in each bay. They just tack them up to the roof sheathing and stuff some batts around them before they blow the main insulation in.

I used 2 23" in each bay worked out pefect

I stapled 4' radiant barrier from the top plate up to the roof vent. It was just wide enough to span the trusses for a good staple. This was before installing ceiling. If you can get house wrap in there that would work if you have blocking to keep insulation from falling into soffit, it is important to have insulation on top of top plate.

You don’t have to keep them together. Just staple them to underside of sheathing……but if you are blowing in loose insulation be sure to use some sort of barrier to prevent lose insulation from falling down into soffit.

There's a RuralRennovators video where they show using housewrap and steel wire to support the top of it by laying it over the wire and stapling it in. If memory serves me right, they drilled holes through the top chord of the truss to run the cable vs stapling it and ran it the length of the building. Mine are 4'oc and that's how I plan on doing the vents.
