Who here uses the Scott brand rags in a box? It seems the have changed the towel material for a much cheaper paper. Has anyone else run across this yet?
I really prefer the older paper material. :willy_nil

Rags in a box are a softer lighter hydoknit material. The Shop towels or Wypalls are the stronger hydroknit material.

We have always used the just general white rags in a box. They were the same material as the "shop rag" just not blue. these are the ones I would prefer

These are the only ones we seem to be able to find the new material, not preferred. not sure if the shop rags or (blue rags) are the different material now.

They have periodically changed the towel over the years based on feedback from customers. My wife was a tester about 7-ish years ago when they last tweaked things. I recall, at the time, they were looking at possibly coming out with a light duty version of the rags in a box. (We tried that out, but I remember it not being that much better than a regular paper towel.)

You should write them a letter. I'm sure they would appreciate the feedback and may even send you some product.

I just stocked up and haven't noticed a change.
