How much did you use ? If you only used an aerosol can..there should be some info on the can. There should also be a web address to contact about your questions.

+1 on how much did you use? Is the well used to irrigate a garden or just the lawn? If just the lawn wouldn't worry about it, if garden I would call the number on the can or email mfg. website on can. Most water tests do not test for insecticide contamination. We recently had a fish pond contaminated by our tree care company, killed 9 of 10 fish. Huge PITA! to clean up. Small pond approx. 200 gal. Although the company stood up and paid to replace the fish, pond plants, and 6 hours of my time to clean, refill, clean again, and refill pond. If you have a County Extension Office they can direct you where to go to get the water tested for insecticide or contact any of the state universities that has an agricultural or turf grass program or even golf course mgt. program

first of all, this is approved to be used around houses, so I doubt if it is terribly toxic. Secondly, unless you had rains which would allow it to soak into the soil, it should break down rather rapidly sitting on top of the soil.Thirdly, if by some strange occurance it has entered the water table and you wish to test for it, you might as well do so now so you will know what you are dealing with. In short, don't worry about it!!!!
