I've decided to use a rail system in my garage. Does anyone know for certain if kobalt krail will work on the Rubbermaid fasttrack. They look close but i haven't gotten my hands on the krail to know. Thanks.

I have the Rubbermaid track myself and I really like it. It looks like the dimensions are pretty close, but I don't know if the bottom part of the Kobalt bracket will snap in positively to the bottom of the Rubbermaid track. You may see if you can mess around with the displays in the store.

Just as an aside, I went with the Rubbermaid because it seemed just as versatile as the other track systems, (no shelving options though), it is low profile, and all 3 of the big box stores here carry it.

That's why I'm looking at it. You can do shelves with it too. Solid or wire.

Answering my own question here. I was able to get ahold of both systems at our other lowes (1st one didnt have the KRail). It looks like the krail hooks WILL work with the rubbermaid, they just dont lock into place like the rubbermaid pieces do. THe upp portion hooks over the rail just like the rubbermaid brand does, but the lower lip hangs down a little further. I think it will work, I probably wont put a lot of weight on them, but good to know there are other potential options.
