One side of my shop (the older side) has a single garage door which I open and close manually. It has always had a water/rain intrusion issue when we get a lot of heavy rain. Two years ago I replaced the bottom of the door seal and it didn't help much.
I'm pretty sure the concrete under and on the outside side of the garage is flat or has a small slope inward towards the door so the water isn't flowing away from the bottom of the door.
I've thought about putting down one of the "tsunami" weather strips under the door and sealing if good...but am wondering if a better solution is to have someone (or maybe I can do it myself by renting a grinder) grind a slope into the concrete so it's angled away from the door.
Thoughts/comments?
Thanks
