here a little vise type thing I made. I wanted something to hold a carb while rebuilding . the long drift punch in a vise works. I hope to come across a mega ram ball. I think their like 1-1/4'' a little $$$$ but , this works fine.
I got it set up for filling the paint gun now. When something come up just drill a hole and tap it out.

Clever idea. I am heavily invested in RAM mounts... have ball studs in the car, truck, boat, motorcycle and a yoke mount for the airplanes in my flying club. Have a collection of cradles for various GPS's, cell phones, laptop, etc.

count me in the RAM mount club too. I have a ball on everything I own with wheels. This is a great idea.
