Ramp Slope help

Been a lurker for quite some time stealing/gathering ideas for my not yet built own place, you know.. day dreaming..

Anyway.. I'm on the planning phase of the project and it will be a SEMI-basement garage and I'm having quite a problem calculating the ramp angle needed to get very low car to go through without scraping...

Anyone has experience with this kind of math?

Forget the math, just draw yourself a scale drawing of the proposed ramp. Cut out a cardboard template for the car to the same scale and run it over the ramp.

Remember the approach angles all the way out to the street or trailer will need to be checked also.
