I have a lowered TR 6 I want to put on my rotary 10K lift. But I cannot get the arms under the car. I have thought about aluminum ramps bolted to arms to drive car up on. Also thought about simply four 4 inch ramps say 18 inch long to drive on to. Any ideas for a simple solution? I figured with aluminum ramps I could simply unbolt them and store in corner when not in use. Right now I jack car up and place two 2x8s under each tire and then position the arms.

I'd make 4 ramps out of 2x8s or 2x10s. Angle the cut on the approach end cuts. Make the bottom 18 inches long and the top one 12-14 inches long.

It does seem like driving onto something shaped like 2x lumber is the easiest. And cheapest. Factory made ramps would need to be low. There is probably such a thing. If you had a friend in a fab shop you could bend a simple ramp on a brake. This might look better than a bunch of planks but the planks would sure work.

My son's car is too low to get the arms under as well. We just drive the front wheels onto some thrown together ramps made of scrap lumber and that does the trick. You don't need anything fancy.

I have to do this with my low 68 Camaro and old Mohawk lift. I have a couple of marks on the concrete and just place a couple custom 2"x6" scraps on the ground.

Race Ramps makes some good stuff if you want plug and play. Personally I have a set of long ramps for trailering my race car. I need a very low approach angle for the splitter. Anyway, A diy garage had a set of these.

You just lift the front?

If I was keeping the Triumph for a long time I would weld some low-profile ends on to the arms.

if 2x8's are high enough make some simple ramps out of 2x8's. You could attach some rubber to the underside so they don't slide out. What arms are on your lift? Are they the 3 stage?

Do you have the pads or flip-ups on the end of the arms? If pads, just driving up on some wood blocks should work. That's what we did in my old place to get my neighbor's Testarossa up on my SmartLift.
