So, I literally just walked in from the garage, a guy showed up 15 minutes ago with a pickup load of tools, I don't really know him and for all I know could all be stolen, I didn't buy anything cause I wasn't in the market, he's a day late and dollar short. Anyways he had a few things that intersted me but I wasn't sure about them, first off was an air bottle jack, made by cummins, I can't find anything online about it and $120 for the jack was a good price for a 20 ton, but not if there junk. usually good bottle jacks are a couple hundred and up. Also, he had a vice it was red and said AFF on the side of it, I didn't ask price but it was a hell of a vice, he said made in new york. American Foundry something I think. then I about filled my shorts, he had 2 nittocat impacts, a 3/8 for $300 and a 1/2 inch for $400. I told him I would give that for it if it was a 2115 ingersoll, but otherwise the money was way off, He did have a 10 ton porta power for $200 but i wasn't familiar with the brand and couldn't read it on the case.

Anyways has anyone heard of the brand of air jack and vice.

Also, has anyone ever had someone show up like this at there place, we run a trucking company and are here at all hours and some random people show up. He gave me a card and phone number, he's based out of south carolina but says he comes to ohio 3-4 times a year.

Isn't cummins tools kind of like a harbor freight import deal? If I remember right before we had a HF years ago they would have tool sales where a bunch of semis would pull into a parking lot and sell all sorts of tools, kind of like a HF on wheels. Think cummins was one of the brands they sold. But that was 10 years or so ago so I may be wrong.

That brand is ****! I think they are worse than HF. You did good by passing up buying any of that ****. By the way, I like some HF stuff, I just needed something close to compare it with.

We used to have an outfit come to our township hall a couple times a year selling the Cummings brand tools.

I remember buying a couple of ball peen hammers. I can remember denting the faces. Absolutly no hardening on the hammer faces.
