Does anyone know where Ranger Tool Storage products are made? This is the tool storage line made by Bendpak Are they made here in the good ole US of A or made across in the pond in Taiwan or China?

Looking online at ASE Deals as I am in the market for a new chest and the prices seem good. Don't want to buy however until I know who I'm really supporting.

Don't they all say it's a good thing though?

I kinda had hope as I read on their site that they opened a new "Distribution and Manufacturing site" in California.

Guess I'll stick to Waterloo for the future as that is what I can afford. Shame the new Kobalt boxes are all hecho en chine as they look to be nicely built, but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger because of that fact.

*Update*

I finally got a reply from them:

"Our Ranger products are mfg and assembled at our facility here in Santa Paula, Ca. They come with a one year warranty on defects on material and workmanship."

So you could take it as this: Some products are built across the pond and then assembled in Santa Paula, or they are manufactured and assembled in Santa Paula.
