Rapidair Fastpipe...Sloping the lines

Getting ready to do a Fastpipe install for air compressor lines. Looking at the 100’ kit with maybe three drops in a three car garage. Research suggests a slope in the horizontal lines to move water to a point where it can be drained.

How much slope are we talking about here? My longest line might be about 20 feet....probably end up with a big “L” shape near the ceiling, each leg about 20 feet. If the lines slope horizontally, does that cause the vertical drops of about 7 feet to be at a slight angle? Or are these slope amounts small enough to not be visible? I suppose the pipe might be flexible enough to be mostly vertical as it goes down the wall to the drop...?

Any experiences with the Fastpipe system in a standard sized garage and moisture in the lines, slopes, and draining? Thanks.

What sort of drying system will you be using? If you can remove most of the moisture at the lines the slope won't be a huge deal. 1/8" over 20' would be plenty.

I have a very basic Home Depot / Husky type of filter. Much like this one:

The bowl collects water as it's supposed to I guess.....I'm sensing I should step up to something a bit better, and I'm open to suggestions. FWIW, I don't paint or do sustained sanding. I use it mostly to drive the air wrench, some cutters, air tires, etc. Before too long it will serve an in-ground scissor lift, and maybe one day a plasma cutter.

I can slope the lines that 1/8" no sweat. Thanks.

1/8" of 20' seems like way to little? With flexible plastic lines you will be lucky it they are even that straight.

I would error on the side of more slope. 1/2" per 10' would hardly be noticeable visually.

Fastpipe is rigid aluminum tubing. RapidAir is the flexible plastic/aluminum core.
