Anyone have any experience with Rapidair? I have a 60 gal DeWALT compressor with a 3/4 air outlet and am thinking about using them to route my air lines.

We used it in my dads shop remodel and really liked it. Make a loop around the shop that comes back to compressor - then you effectively have two lines feeding each draw. We ran 1/2 and it works fine. I may use 3/4 on my shop for a large impact and sand blaster but for your size of compressor 1/2” would be fine.

I ran 1/2 rapidair for my small 4.5 cfm HF compressor. A single line not a loop. It replaced a 3/4 and 1/2" PVC system installed by the previous owner. The Rapidair does not flow nearly as well as the old system and is not enough for full performance from 1/2" impact wrenches.

Also it leaks down pretty fast. The compressor cycles often if I leave it on.

I put in the 3/4" Rapid Air system 10 years ago in my shop and love it. No complaints and easy to do.

Love mine. Use straight pipe or get their straightener. Very tough

Installing the 3/4in maxline in my shop right now. The straightener definately makes it easier, but attach it to something heavy, with adequate room out both ends for long runs of pipe. So far so good.

My son and I ran the Rapidair 3/4" line down the length of my 70' shop in about 10 minutes. I supposed that's why they call it "rapid air".

It's been in for about five years now. Very pleased with it.

I used the 3/4" kit and bought a few more fittings I needed to get just what I wanted. If I had to redo everything, I'd go the same route.

I got the maxline kit and absolutely loved it. I have another 1/2" kit I want to use to run a few more drops.
