Sort of hoping this estate sale find is on par with a double struck, rare US coin, and worth a considerable amount of money, but I can’t seem to win the lottery either!

double struck Craftsman 1/2 to 3/8 adapter.

I figured some Craftsman collectors would be interested in this ‘rare’ anomaly, so I threw it in my small pile of purchases today. If anybody wants it, let me know....

Fortunately for tool collectors, and unfortunately for sellers, "fly specking" is not really a thing. Mis-stamped tools are common and of little-to-no value.

I have never seen that. I like old Craftsman tools but never seen a double struck one I do have some double struck coins but never seen a tool.

I've got a Reed 103-1/2 with partial double struck 1914 patent date.

I have some mistruck snap ons. An interesting phenomenon but not a big money thing.
