Rare Snap-on Ratchet!

I have bought some nice tools from this guy. He has a Unique ratchet for sale.

I wonder if there are other differences besides the clear cover being that the ratchet carries a special part number. I imagine someone who collects tools would know how rare or unusual it is.

My bet would be a demonstration model not intended for heavy use, special run made to introduce the concept.

Its a dealers demo. Has a special model number. The guts are chrome, and has a plastic face plate. Other that that its about the same. Not worth that price. Maybe 50-60. Not rare, but hard to find.

I have one, Its a really cool ratchet although I did not pay that much for mine.
Another unique thing about them is that the gear and pawl are chromed so that they are easier to see.
