Finished reorganizing my socket drawer. Got rid of a bunch of duplicates and moved some stuff to other drawers. Moved everything onto Ernst rails. I just prefer them to everything else. I might give away the few Westling trays I have as I’m not really a huge fan. Shrank my ratchets down to that group and a couple of Wera Zyklops ratchets stuffed in another drawer. Feels good to get some stuff cleaned up on a snowy and slow shift.

You guys are great. I just don’t have room to put everything in nice neat rows. Too many tools. When I retired 1 year ago I estimate I have at least 100K in tools. Not bragging just a lifetime career of farm and heavy equipment repairs. My tools have paid for my retirement today. Not too many uses for 3” sockets or 4000 ft/ lb torque multipliers anymore 😎😎

Most of my stuff is in the flip-top of my Full Bank

Extensions and the extras/less-used/specialty stuff is in the 2nd drawer:

...except for the purgatory (for a socket) drawer that has the eTorx set and the stubby impact 3/8" set I just got (which isn't in the pic)

(that last pic upsets my OCD - actually all three have something off - will fix next time I'm in the garage :ROFLMAO:)

On a side note: Does Husky (Hommie D) just sell the lower cabinet of their heavy duty line? I only see it in their combination lower/upper sets.

I’ll brag a little :)

I have some new arrivals that I need to adjust for, second drawer is for extras and specialty sockets, overflow, etc.

My main socket ratchet drawer, as a DIY'er. I keep my impact sockets in the plastic case they came in, and I keep my finer ratchets in a humidor at 68% humidity (that is a joke)

I finished the ratchet and socket drawer and have more than I need, but it's always fun collecting tools. Like some others, I have an unhealthy addiction to buying tools. I have some SnapOn ratchets, but most of the sockets aren't SnapOn - they are just too expensive. I think GearWrench makes some great rachets and sockets for the money and I really like their 120XP ratchets. The latest addition was the 24" breaker bar. I doubt I will need that, but always good to have just in case. 20230202_161807 (002).jpgI hope I can have something like this when I a older
