Was just working on my riding mower getting it ready for the year giving it a tune up and had some tight spaces I had to work in and got the chance to use my old vintage MAC M1RX which is a 3/8 drive in a 1/4 body that allows you to get into really tight spots while still being able to use larger sockets without adaptors that cause more length in a tight spot. Anyways I will post a pic of that old MAC on another thread because this post is all about the overall collection not any particular one:) ...... No man can " EVER " have to many ratchets!!! I could own a million and if I see one I like then a million and one it will be;) lol

Welcome aboard, you will be right at home here!!!

How do I see what tools you have for sale? Is there a link I can hit on your profile or can you send me a link to the forum you have them on if you currently have some to sell? Thanks:) Jesse

Welcome Jesse!!

I've been working on aircraft and trains for 40 years.
I LOVE flea markets and yard sales, so I've acquired a lot of ratchets and other tools over time.
BTW.....nice collection!

Holly S*#T!!! That is a cray amount of ratchets lol, but I still hold to my word and say a man can never have to many ratchets! :) and yes this man is far ahead of me and as far as how much money he has invested in all those I couldnt even begin to imagine the dollar amount givin how much I have spent on just my collection which is nothing to this guys! I envy him and now have alot of catching up to do at tool sales, garage sales, estate sales, and flea markets this summer!!!

Nice. Wat kind of box is that?

If you was asking what kind my box is, its a Mac Maximizer from the mid 1960's and its a great box! Only problem I had was one of the slide rail clips broke last year and I emailed Mac about getting a new clip and they sent me 10 new clips so I had extras for the rest of my life free of charge didnt even have to pay shipping and I had them 3 days later. The box was originally my grandfathers and it was handed down to my about 5 years ago and it still works great and it will be handed down to my son in the future.

I like how you roll, welcome! Just heed this word of advice: do not enter the Hot Deals thread. You have been warned. LOL.

I think Mac has one of the best warranty departments when it comes to off-truck/email warranty requests. In other words, they don't hassle the little guys who don't have a truck to go to.

On another note, I agree you can never have too many ratchets, hammers, etc, but I have so many ratchets and what not that I actually use something for the simple fact it hasn't been used in a while. Example, I generally reach for my dual 80, but yesterday I was doing some electrical work and I had one nut to tighten down, so I specifically picked my fine tooth Facom just for that reason. It was an impulse buy a few months ago that I've used maybe 3 times. I really only bought it to see what the Facom hype was all about. It's the j161 and its a nice tool.

Ya know I own a set of Mac Precision Torque Wrenches and if you look at Facoms 440 wrenches they are almost Identical and the MPT wrenches are imported so im convinced these are in fact Facom wreches that have been rebranded Mac. The wrenches are of amazing quality givin they are imports and I use them often at work. I have no experience with Facom ratchets but your imput could convince me to make the plunge and get one for the collection:)
