I have a bunch of ratchets that are due for a good cleaning and relubrication. What do you guys recommend for a good lube? I have used Silicone Grease in the past and been very happy with it. I just don't know whether to use grease or a heavy oil.

I originally put some EP all purpose grease in all of mine, seemed to work okay but even using just a dab I could hear it squishing around so I cleaned it out and used gun oil which seems to be working well

A good grease liberally coating the gear. I work in ship repair and my poor ratchet falls into a bilge full of saltwater often enough. I used to oil the gear, but then it would rust due to the saltwater and I would have to take it apart again. The last time I took it apart I used grease and it has worked smoothly since. Even after a saltwater bath or two.

I've been using an old can of Lubriplate A grease. Has worked well even in small 1/4" ratchets.

I use Superlube on my course and MX suspension fluid (since I have it laying around) which is super slippery on my high tooth ratchets. It makes them super fast!

Does that come in a truck like this one?

Like the Snap-On Truck only different?

I have used Super Lube for a while now in my Ratchets.

DuPont Krytox. Good enough for NASA, good enough for a ratchet (I get it for free).
