A couple drops of white lithium grease. I hate thick grease or seepy oil in a ratchet.

I like liked the RLL but it always slowly seeps out of the ratchet... Kinda makes a mess, but it gives the best feel when using the ratchet.
Otherwise its super lube. Just dont use that stuff on certain rubber parts, it will make them swell..

Friction in ratchets is about the lowest stress case for boundary lubrication ever invented. Any light oil is more than good enough.

^ Other than old (really OLD) open-gear types, a light oil is plenty. MMO is fine for most all of them.

I used to put white grease into low-tooth-count Proto ratchet heads on their 1/2" torque wrenches. They felt so smooth!
I stopped breaking the teeth off of the ratchet mechanism when I stopped using grease. Coincidence? I don't think so.
I use nothing but liquid lube now. Ratchets don't feel as smooth, but they aren't breaking, either.
Current favorite is essentially the same as RLL, but with different color dye. NAPA had a display package, I bought several bottles years ago.

I want you to verify what you posted. I guess this is not going to happen?
Detergents are added to synthetic oils to help keep the engine clean by preventing the build-up of sludge and other deposits. A ratchet does not collect the products of combustion like an engine. The word detergent may convey the wrong message.
I do not use any lube in my ratchets. I have ratchets that are over 60 years old. I do open and clean my ratchets because the cogs can fill with residue and cause the pawls to skip when under load. Adding grease may cause the pawl to skip when the pawl cannot displace the grease and lock in to the cogs.
Well, this is my modus operandi. If another person is not comfortable with it.................................
