Ratchet ?? Made for who?

I'm 99.9% sure this is snap on made but who for? It is missing the cover plate. I might have one to get it back into service.

Cool, I do have a F830 style caterpillar but never thought that on this one. Thanks!!

Yeah, the style of the Cat ratchets changed a few times. Snap-On military ratchet handles, knurled handles, modern Williams and Snap-On handles.
Makes me wonder though why Snap-On never made a regular knurled lineup of their own. Perhaps they didn’t want the ratchets to look too much like other brands.
