i recently bought a f723A ,can anyone tell me when these were produced. Also I was told that snapon didnt make quick release ratchets for long is this true?

The date code should be between the release lever. As for the quick release, I think they still make one. I know I like mine...

F720's were introduced in 1985 and ran through until the F800's were well into production (about 1995).

The #400 catalog, 1997, still offered your F723A quick release.
