Ratchet spinners

I have SK in those sizes which are very nice with a good , fine tooth, smooth action. A spinner doesen't really have to be super strong because of the way they are used. If you could get a full grip and really apply presure, you would be able to use a ratchet. I've neverheard of a spinner being worn out, buti can be corrected.
The 1/4 inch and 3/8 SKs are the same size, just different drive sizes. For really close places, I took the guts out of a couple of cheap ratchets and used them for spinners. No ratcheting action, of course, but occasionally convenient.

I have the extension/spinners from Matco, got the 1/4 & 3/8 for about $40 IIRC.

The US made Williams are nice, but a 1/4" drive is not available. I'd buy the Snap-on TMS70A 1/4" drive spinner for like $17.50 and then get the Williams in 3/8" drive. Not a perfect match, but pretty close.

Yes tube guy that's what I want. Keh are you saying sk makes a spinner and danco that's not a bad price did you buy them off the truck? $40 is more than I want to spend but I can live with it. I want matching pretty bad.

I have never once found a use for that tool. I ended up trading in 4 to my matco guy.

Yes, got them both off the truck. Come to think of it, I saw a pair in Lowes about a week ago. I know you said made in the USA. Just another option

First tool out of the box on every job. I use the all the time. Ratchet, spinner, extension, socket, of course I was buying tools long before extensions had the fancy knurling on em. Extensions and sockets covered in grease and oil get mighty slippery. Also good for starting nuts and bolts.

I was going to leave them on my fine tooth ratchets. I'm always grabbing the extension or socket and spinning by hand. I have been thinking about those kobalts Dan. I can get a proto 3/8 for $8 local. Just wont have a matching 1/4. Hard choices!

I guess its just my profession. I have never once seen anybody get one out on a job, i doubt there even in anybodys toolbox at the shop either.
